old jacobs 14N drill chuck with 2MT / JET press ?

Will a old Jacobs 14N with a 2MT work on a JET 15" bench drill press?? The press spindle taper is a MT-2..

Yes.

You'll need a 2MT to 3JT chuck arbor.

2MT and MT-2 are the same thing: Morse Taper #2

Yes, you shouldn't need any adapter. If I'm reading you correctly the chuck has a male MT2 taper and the press has a female MT2 taper. You might need to lower the quill to expose the slot for the taper drift to knock out the existing chuck.
