Old Kennedy Kits Tool Chest

Hey All, I came across this old Kennedy Kits tool chest at a yard sale for $10 , couldn't pass it by. Its an old one with brass tone pulls and corner braces along with a nice leather handle. Can anyone give me an approximate date for this one? Are these older boxes desirable? Thanks

The handles look similar to these shown in 1917 and 1924. Cool box.

Your post is perfectly timed as I saw the more beat up twin to this box on my local CL literally a day before your posting!

I ignored it initially as too rough, but after seeing your patina king I’m inspired! I’ve got it secured and am picking it up in a week.

My goal is to get it very close to your “look” (by using the patented Private Lugz magic toolbox patina stain process ) of color and sheen.

Mine is very complete, but it needs straightening in various places, along with a finish and handle rehab.

Please keep us updated on anything you might do to your new arrival! Here is the brother.
