Old Lathe Mount Grinder - Tesla? -

Here's another grinder I picked up last weekend. Not exactly a bench grinder so throwing it out here in the mix.
3 phase so I don't think I can test it much
Has a really nice old badge on it "The United States Electrical Tool Company".

But the part I find interesting is "Motor made by the owners of patent, Dec. 26, 1893" Looking that up, does that mean the motor was made by the Tesla company? Nikola not Musk

Maybe a bit quick.... Over the weekend I searched for just the patent date and came up with the Tesla patent on that date. After posting this I tried Googling "Motor made by the owners of patent, Dec. 26, 1893" and came up with a patent for a similar electric motor idea by Henry Parker White. If it's that one, not quite so glorious on first glimpse but still a nice old motor/grinder.
