I seen this at the flea market today for 40 bucks, I came back to it three times, first time talked the lady down to 35, the second 30, and then 25! I love this thing!

That is very cool, but you sir, have much more patience than I. What's next a treadle powered lathe? :lol_hitti

BTW, did you ever get that plastic military snap on tool box?

I have one of those. Looks just like your Craftsman, but mine is maroon. I honestly like sharpening things with it better than my bench grinder. You don't have to worry about overheating the metal and losing the temper on chisels and things. It surprised the heck out of me how good it actually worked. The only downfall is trying to crank with one hand and sharpen something with the other. I got mine for $4 at a garage sale.

thats actually pretty cool, wouldn't mind keeping one mounted in the shed for mower blades and hedge clippers and stuff, in stead of taking it down stairs to my blocks.

Oil that puppy up and you will probably be amazed at how smooth they can run (Assuming the wheel is on concentric... I don't think any of the 1/2 dozen or so of mine has a concentric wheel. Never figured that out...
