Old machine shop closing down

There is an old bloke 79 who`s partner died and so he`s retiring. The building has been sod but inside is a treasure trove of beautiful machinery
that has to go asap or it may end up being scrapped. lathes Bridgeport's Multi drill stations end mills etc.
I`m determined not to see this fantastic stuff get send to china.
Please help me find homes foe these beauties.

I've got a friend over there who's a machinery broker and might buy the whole shop. I'd also drive over to pick up a Bridgeport at the right price. Can you send pix and contact info?

You might also want to post this information on the Practical Machinist forum. IIRC, there is a section on that forum that deals with older machine tools. They also used to have a pretty good network of guys that would work together to save and/or move old machines to prevent them from being scrapped.

is this the shop under the Power lines? lots of big old greasy machines and tons of new steel on racks and new bolts in bins. biggest compressor hanging from a ceiling I've seen in a smallish shop.

looks like a different machine shop closing down in Tacoma than the one I thought it was. I would have thought you would have wanted that grinder that looks like it is 14 inch or bigger wheels and about a ton.

did you see any huge vise or vises?
