I own a 3500 square foot metal building that was built in 1961. I still used it on occasion but the water has been turned off for years. It has old galvanized pipe which is stopped up and of course its under the 4 inch slab. The water meter is at the rear of building and restroom is at front about 75 feet away. I would like to have water to the restroom again. I now just take water to shop and pour in back of commode when I need to use it. I have been doing this for years. I also need water to do some work on my boat this fall. I could just install a faucet at water meter and use hose pipe for the work on boat. Any suggestions on the best way to get water back to front restroom ? I have read where Pex would work. The area I live in does get down pretty cold at times in the winter so I would have to drain it I am quite sure. I also plan on cutting off the water when I am not there with a lock on it. I am not planning on ever selling this old building . The building is 70 x 50 and still in good shape and serves what I want to use it for. A few leaks on the sky lights but I can fix that. I store two pontoon boats in the winter months and just need water when I am there working. Thanks for any tips.
