Got any clearer photos of that stencil? Looks like (something)ST 2-C-2000

Any other markings?

The stencil is pretty faded, but maybe the other side is a little better.
I believe these are the only markings on the box.

I thought it said 'chest 2-c-2690' but it could easily be 2600 or 2000.

How about 'chest 2-c-2680'

Ahh that brings up some hits. Appears to be a belt loader box from ww2.
Wish it had the belt loader inside!

That would be fun to see in action!

I found a YT video of one in action. The action starts about the 4:00 mark, but he has to reset the machine before it really gets going.
