My purpose in being here is to discover what others are doing to arrange their shop & tools effectively & efficiently.
My tool organization policy has always been buy the tool, use the tool, put the tool down, go do something else, 2 months later look for the tool for an hour
, grumble about the kids running off with the tool (no kids @ my house), 
go buy another tool, repeat the process as needed.
I've been working on cars, boats, campers, wood working projects, and honey do's since age 12 (53 years),
Now I think I should do something different in the shop besides looking for tools.
My shop is 48' X 60' (5 stalls wide,& 2 stalls deep with a pit, with a 36 X 48 upstairs storage & future man cave area) with tools all over the place.
