I definitely agree about the price, but it wouldn't surprise me given some of the prices of other old SO stuff on eBay. It does look really interesting, I've never seen anything like it.

not to hijack this thread, but how much are these older types of boxes worth??? are these in the WW2 era boxes?? or older?? ive got a guy trying to pass this box off below to me for 200. the old school aspect is cool, just didnt know if it was worth that or more or less???

Yes, the price is stupid, unless you're a collector for whom money is not a consideration.

No, collectors don't use the same value scale as tool users.

Tell your friend I’ll gladly pay him $200.00 for his boxes shown in the photo, plus shipping by UPS, Fed X or Speedy Delivery and he can keep the tools.
