Interesting. I have never seen that style of leveler, even in the industrial factories that cost wouldn't be as much of a consideration. Is any levelers made of similar style nowadays?

We always used a ratcheting chain comealong on one leg when setting large pumps or motors when there were obstacles to get around when pulling or setting in place.

Use the same one at my Subaru dealer on our engine hoist for pulling engines.

The company that does rigging for us has a few, still available new. Looks like you can get 2000lb or 3900lb.

do i get credit for being close. :pimpflash

i was pretty sure of the purpose, i just missed the cause. my creek doesn't flow enough to support them even though they get up here on occasion. i do have issues with corn stalks and soybean straw plugging culverts and it would work for that as well.
