Nice ratchets, the kid loss is your gain!

LostHSV - Nice avatar! Are they yours? I too own a 1966 chevy C10, mine's a Panel truck - hence the screen name.

i bet the ratchets were on sale and the dealer had 50 invested in them. I have a lot of guys that want to trade in the 936 series ratchets, but no one wants them anymore. most guys end up taking them to the house and buying an 80 tooth
I did sell all the older ratchets this week. we are doing a giveaway on a snap on mini fridge and I added all of my old stock to the pile and it went like crazy. I will try and get a good picture of the fridge

The 936 Ratchets still fetch a pretty penny on Ebay, Ive talked to plenty of people in local shops here that prefer them over the Dual 80 tech. It honestly doesnt matter to me, I grew up feeling the Ratchet work for me with the bigger tooth counts. I can definitely see where the fine tooth comes in handy in tight working enviroments but its hard to beat the feel of The Wright stuff.

i asked my dealer what he wanted for em, he said $60, i offered $50 and he took it, so i figure he had less that that in them

and i probably saved them from ratchet purgatory.
and what little research ive done so far, the chrome f-719-a looks to be from '53-'58
the unchromed gf 70 s seems to be WWII era,
G meaning govt?
S ?
