Looking for help. I purchased this Rogers Manufacturing Co “Universal” lawn mower grinder, it was built in the 1940’s, I think. The machine is in great shape, but I really want a manual for it. I have a general idea of how it works, but does anyone know where I could find a manual for it ? I have looked everywhere online and found the patents, but that is all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are a couple pictures, it will grind the reel and the bedknife.

I have no Idea, but having worked on a golf course grounds crew back when I was in college, if I wanted to learn how to use one of those I would contact a local golf course and ask to speak to their mechanic. Showing up with a case of beer at a time convenient to them might get you an in person lesson on how that machine works, or if the mechanic is like the one I used to work with, you will get a long string of profanity explaning why it doesn't work, which could be even more valuable than a manual.

There has been a lot of good information exchanged over a few beers, or if beer is not good for you, consider a box of doughnuts.
