This thing looks cool as hell with the rivets around it. Anyone know when it was made? It would definitely look cool redone or could even turn it into a unique BBQ smoker.

dunno, but it definitely is cool... For $30 i'd have a hard time not getting it, repainting it and just having it for a conversation piece.

Thats probably an old refrigeration compressor pump attached to an equally old water tank.

Very cool! Definitely look for a cert plate, and if you decide to pressurize, pressure test first...
