When I was a teenager I worked as the teardown guy in a transmission shop one summer In the 60’s. No lifts for the R&R guys, they used large Lincoln floor and end lift jacks, creepers, and shop made jack stands. Forward 20 years into the 80’s and I was building a 1940 Ford pickup as a street rod. Since I was not planning to use the stock differential it seemed natural to make up a set for odd uses like fabricating and such. I found that they were perfect for my Carryall refurb project. Have any of you older guys ever seen these used?
