Okay - We got alot of whining about the quality of SK tools lately. Well, I have to generally agree, but let me show you an old timey kick *** 1/2 " breaker bar that kicks *** and takes names. I beat this tool with a 3-pound hammer and a 5-foot pipe and it still said, "thank you sir, may I have another??"

You "betcha" -- I have older SK-Wayne sockets that have held up better than MAC, Craftsman, and yes, even SNAP-ON.

Then again, I have two 70's vintage SK 1/2" drive socket sets that have failed miserably.

Yup, the really old SK sockets I find digging through pawn shop junk tool bins are almost always in very usable shape.

I have a bunch of older ratchets n sockets. A few are from the 30's .
All fine. The newer stuff I have looks kinda crappy but still works.

if SK was so much better than snap
how come the company has been bought and sold more times than a bronx ****** ?

My hammer says it doesn't care, as long as it can keep pounding the @#$% out of the SK tool. Huh, like a bronx ******?
