I've been on a roll lately, acquiring new tools and equipment. But I thought you guys would enjoy seeing this old jewel. Got a Snap-On ignition analyzer, Alt tester / Tach Dwel (models MT-430 - MT-402 & MT 415) set up from the 60's. It has the steel case / tote in classic Snap-On red. Came with the original manuals (copy write 1964) and the the original Snap-On sales slip dated 2/3/66. It has the guys name street address and purchase price on it, he paid $145. Really cool to find that, makes me wonder what ever happened to William Roy Brown of 3262 South Logan St. Englewood, Co. :headscrat

Had a couple other garage sale / estate sale finds.
Snap-On 1/2 ratcher 71-m (Can you get a rebuild kit for this old girl?)
Crescent AT112 wrench
Willams S-15R speed wrench
Columbian Cleveland 506-2 monster Vise

I'm sure if it could talk we would hear some good stories. Not much use for it in this day and time, but it was too cool with the original manuals and sales rec and the price was right on that jewel.

Anyone know if you can get a rebuild kit for the Snap-On rachet? (pic above) It's a 71-M, any idea when those were being produced? :Help:

This is the ignition analyzer MT-430. This is stand alone, does not have the snap-on caddy like the MT-402 and MT-415.

I just got an ignition analyzer like yours but its missing the fuse retainer and fuse. I sure would like to know what type of fuse it takes and also a copy of the manual if available. Casey H.

When I was a really crazy collector I bought a Snap-on exhaust gas analyzer the only one I ever saw for sale. I tripped over that thing for years in my garage and finally was able to include it into a large tool purchase just to get it out of my life. Originally I thought I would have used it but a number of switches were broken and it may have had other problems. So I decided to let someone else worry about its operation.
