Old school wrenches - Faralla, DIN and USS labeling

The first wrench is labeled Faralla as an apparent brand. Never heard of 'em

The second is labeled DIN 895 w apparent sizing 24 and 27 which I find interesting as this old-school machinist owned NOTHING metric.

The bottom one is sized as 7/16 USS and 3/8 USS which I'm assuming would translate to 9/16" on the latter.... but the former could be 5/8 or 11/16. Interesting.

Just as metric wrenches are made in the US, I would imagine some imperial wrenches were made in Germany. The DIN 895 mark meant that the they met a minimum safety standard. A lesser European brand would probaby not be known to many here.

The DIN 895 were usually the wrenches that came in the tool kits of European cars.
The USS markings are on pre-1920's wrenches.

"Farfalla" is Italian for "butterfly". Don't know if that helps any.

FAIRALLOY The wrench says Fairalloy, as in Fairmount

Although, it does look more like an "ay " on the end.

I'm kind of thinking wrench shaped pasta would taste good right now. We already have wagon wheels. This could be the money maker!
