old Scooter rehab

I have a oid scooter my father made for my sister around 1950s or so. Sis is 73 yr old and remembers she was 4 to 6 yr old.
local powder coating for the frame, ship wheels for new tires, same material for the old bone-shaker high wheel by-cycles. Going to use skateboard grip tape on the deck.

trying to find the replacement bearings NORMA C-96-P. Od .748, bore for axle .236, width .237. Wondering if this same as skateboard bearings? Or source for direct replacements / cross reference?

Will probaly redo the maple handle , don't like how the brand turned out

Take them to your local bearing house, see what they come up with... Or check with these guys...

Tell them you have a Norma C-96-P and need 2 (or 4). They may have either NOS or something that matches.

Cool project! You can boil those tires off the rims. Just heat them up and they should peel right back.
