Attention welders, I swapped for an old Sears Craftsman "buzz-box" its battered and worn but the person I got it from is a big family friend and says she works fine. I want to bring new life to her, but the aluminum indicator plate is extremely faded. I would love to find a place where I could buy a replacement. I anticipate finding a new one being near impossible. Plan B is to make one. I own and opperate a vinyl decal machine which I believe could replicate the original. The problem is that I have only been able to fine one such selector plate picture online, and it has the stinger laid right across the information I need. Which is the very reason that mine is faded. In the forums infinite wisdom, do we have access to the information or a better picture than the one I found? I downloaded the PDF of the users manual but the rendering sketch of the plate is too blury of a scan to retrieve the information. For referrence, I will try to attatch the picture that I have and any relevant information. Thanks in advance for your help!

It is a Sears Craftsman 225 Amp A.C. Arc Welder. The model no. is 133.207910

Sorry to bring up an old thread,I just happened to come across this. I have a welder like that but newer. I believe most of those old Sears Craftsman welders were made by Century. IIRC Lincoln bought out Century. I think Century made welders for Montgomery Ward as well. Hope this helps with your restoration.
