I was able to see the pic, and I don't have a FaceBook account.
I remember those vacs. I haven't even seen one at a yard sale in at least ten years.

I had the exact same Shop-Vac. Other than approaching the age of being antique, it had little value as a shop vac. Once I got my 3.5hp Craftsman 6 gallon vac (that can **** the chrome off a bumper), I pitched the old vac in a garage sale for 2 bucks..

Other than the info printed on the top of it "Shop-Vac Corporation", I have nothing for you.. Sorry...

Looks similar to one I got in the early 80s, but I'd guess yours is a bit older. Maybe from the 1970s?

Indeed, after I saw your post I tried, and also was able to see it. Nowdays whenever I see the Facebook.com I don't attempt to access it, as I've never had any luck in the past when I did try, so now I don't bother.

Same here, I don't do Facespace but I clicked the link anyway & was able to see it. Normally I wouldn't be able to.

Reminds me of one of those vacuums that attach to a common paint bucket or whatever. But then again I may be confused & it's one like in the OP that I'm thinking about.
