Old slab in a new barn

I had a pole barn built last month around a concrete pad that was poured in the 90's and has been exposed to the elements until now.
I pressure washed it yesterday and used Krud Kutter with pretty good results.
What should I do now, I'm thinking a basic sealer. Not trying to make it a O.R. floor but would like to protect it from future stains and damage.
Being able to sweep it clean is the main goal.
I really need to get stuff into it so time is limited, having great weather in KC so would like to do it this week

I suggest you grind the top off and harden the concrete. If you need more protection add a clear sealer later. That will give you a smooth, durable surface that will not dust and be easy to sweep. You can do the hardening and sealing easily yourself.

It is big enough to hire a concrete grinding contractor to take it down to the aggregate, too many potential problems to do it with rental gear which will probably end up costing you more than the contractor and your finish will not be as uniform.

The processes are all quick without long cure times. Check out suppliers of hardeners and sealers on this site.

I have a similar kind of thing going on and am considering pouring a levelling layer on top and finish with VCT...still in research-phase...
