I answered another post earlier and said I didn't buy anything else after my hauls on Thursday and Friday, but in fact I did stop at several garage sales on Saturday morning, and struck out cold...mostly. But then today (Monday, July 5th) I emptied out the car today and remembered that I had found very few small items.

Here is a small tool box, probably for a 1/2" drive ratchet and socket set. Color looks familiar, but no names or numbers anywhere that I can find. Older style plastic handle, with metal latch and hinges. It's about 20" long. See pic:

I know this is not some fabulous treasure...just a nice little metal box. It must be from about the 1960's. I note that the red paint on the lid is faded on the back side. Maybe it spent some time in the sun? Anyway, in this next pic you can see the price tag, which explains why I bought it. It just HAS to be worth that much....right? :headscrat

I hope someone has some idea what brand it might be. I have lots of old vintage tools, and it would be SO cool to fill up this box with the appropriate tools. Maybe the inside view will spark someone's memory?
