Hello
I recently inherited a snap on box and was seeing if anyone could possibly give me some more info on it or where I could find a part number. I also would appreciate any info on how to remove the drawer slides and some need replaced. Thank you in advance for any information!

Model number is usually stamped somewhere in back panel on those old boxes. I'm assuming the slides are friction slides there should be a black clip attached to front of slide. Use a screwdriver to pry the back of clip out of the hole in slide and skew the clip slightly to keep the back portion from protuding into the slide. You need to do this on both sides. The drawer will come out if both clips are detached. Alternatively, you can slide a thin piece of metal such as a hacksaw blade between the drawer and slide. It needs to go in far enough to cover back of clip. This prevents clip from catching the stop tab on front of drawer when its opened fully and drawer can be removed. It's easier just to pry them up and skew them over a little bit though.

Bend a hacksaw blade about 20 degrees and around one inch from the end. Stick that under the front of the slide to lift the catch and pull the drawer out. You can do one side at a time by pushing the slide back into the cabinet.

If my memory is correct, you have a KR537 top box and a KR557 roller cabinet. I can't see enough of the side cabinet to know what it is. When the door is open, are there any drawers inside or just shelves?
