I found this old Snap/on with the / slash between the Snap and On, found it listed in the Snap on Catalog of 1938 supplemental after a lot of looking. The R-712 3/8" ratcheting boxocket as Snap/on called it, ratchet wrench. The odd thing was the piece that was bolted onto it and I can't figure out what it is a special tool for. Fits perfectly like it was made for it. Anyone know? Before and after clean up pics.
