Old snap-on cabinet.

I found this in a back building behind our shop. I thought it was pretty cool and would be nice to put all my aerosol cans in. It has a U.S. Navy tag on it. The bottom side is snap on red but everything else has been painted gray. Does anyone know what this was originally used for?

Awesome! Thank you for that zkling. I'm going to clean it up and keep it gray. I figured the wood doors were a modification.

That's the plan. I'm going to take the old paint off. I haven't decided if I'll paint it red or haze gray because of the navy. Thoughts?
