Popped up on my local CL. Not sure if its legit or if someone took a piece of plywood and spray painted snap-on on it (this may be what just happened to occur in the factory, actually..). Anyways, not sure if it has all 4 casters.

Thoughts? I mean, its kinda cool. I wouldn't throw it down and roll under anything, but might be able to resell it...dk.

How is that not worth $20? Assuming it has all for wheels. The material alone would cost that, then add the time to build it Lol. There are some really unreasonable people on this board. If you want it and your going to use it it's worth $20. If you are more interested in a resale I would say $30 is going to be hard to fetch.

If you like it and it works fine, $20 ain't much for what it does.

Then again craftsman has a metal foam back creeper for ~$25-35 on sale, so :dunno:
Personally I am not a fan of creepers, IMHO they take up too much space. I just use a piece of foam floor mat. I am a young guy now and may rethink that in a few years though.

That's what creepers used to look like not too long ago.

I have a buddy that would probably ****** it up and hang it on the wall. For some of the older guys that use Snap-on, that's garage art.

Looks like the one I bought used 30 years ago when I pulled wrenches 50 hrs a week. Mine has the adjustable head rest, though.

I still use it at home.

$20? Yes, but offer $10, settle in between.

Those were mass produced and stamped with every company imaginable (and probably some you can't imagine...)

It's sole saving grace is the logo (as other have mentioned as garage art. I had one (Non-Snap-On, but identical) of those for 30 years, ripped a caster off several times (and just screwed them back into new holes) and finally found a great old vintage creeper, refurbished that and and gave that sucker away.

Its' worth it if its worth it to you for the name/art; as a working creeper I wouldn't pay $5 for one of those...

I have some similar vintage Craftsman Crown logo and Champin spark plug creepers I am thinking about re-purposing as end tables or coffee tables. I only use foam or carboard under vehicles LOL.

I think wall art would be as far as it would go for me...ended up passing. No time to really do anything with it.

IMO
It's not worth $20 because it's no different or better than any other of the similar creepers it is like of that era, and it's a little rough.
If it was in better shape I would be interested just to hang on the wall.
Today's low profile creepers are better and more comfortable and not much money

My first creeper was just like that except that it was branded Central Tractor. It cost $7.95 one day I was rolling along and one of the casters caught something and broke the wood where the caster was screwed on.

I've got one of those and still use it, it cost me the equivalent of $29 (£20 uk), mines covered in welding burns.I did think of upgrading to a new padded one but think how much it would burn if I use it for welding.I tend to just use it as a kneeling board.

We have like 4 of those in the shop. Guys still use those things. Lol. Its garage art imho. If ur not gonna clean it up and hang it up dont bother for $20. You would have a hard time getting $30-$35 with out a full resto
