Old Snap on hard handles still available?

Sorry been out of the game a while, I know back in 2010 and prior there was this massive uproar of the discontinued hard handles and only having instinct available.

But then suddenly snap on listened to their consumer and released the classic hard handles again(I think as parts not as a whole).

Are those separate parts still available?

I believe these are them.

http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/parts/pro_det.asp?Item_id=650907&group_id=683528

But I cannot order them through the website, add to cart redirects to new catalog, and pasting part numbers in new catalog comes up with no results, I currently do not have a snap on dealer as my route is vacant and snap on is less then helpful regarding this. I tried contacting them online and their essentially useless. So does anyone have some insight?

They are available from tool trucks on a pretty frequent basis I just picked up these a few weeks ago

Highly doubt they will sell them on the website they like to keep some tools exclusive to the trucks. Find a driver let him know what color you like and give him your phone number and wait for snappy to do a run of them.

I heard new style hard handle are not worth a ****. Is this true ?

They are nice. The finish is textured rather than smooth allowing a positive grip when oily as compared to the old smooth finish, not as pretty but much more functional. I have both.

I don't think their selling them as whole sets anymore though I could be wrong. I know cause I lost my #1 phillips like 4-5 years ago got an instinct for replacement, then they rereleased the original hard handles again and pretty sure my driver at the time had to assemble a blade/handle to make me a replacement(and took my instinct in on trade for it).

Their fine, a lot of us just have an unnatural obsession with the original hard handles.

I think the OP wants replacement handles, not a whole set of screwdrivers.

I actually need a replacement screwdriver not handle, I lost one the other day, but as said earlier I don't think I can order a whole og hard handle screw driver.

I might buy a set in green my driver has them in green.

Green soft handles instict fit a lot better in my hands so I am going and forth on which one to get.

Logos are screened on and not stamped on the new ones...

The logo's are stamped and screened in. It doesn't scratch off like a screen would, these are used every day in tight spaces. My hard handle 1/4 drive ratchet in green was used hard for 8 months with no noticeable wear on the lettering, for what that is worth. I traded it in on a red handled one this week tho lol ocd i guess

My driver has quite a few loose hard handles hanging on the ceiling in green, black and a few red. I don't think they will order them tho. As I understand snap on releases them to the dealers at various times through the year in different colors. You won't be able to order them direct, my driver knows I like the red hard handles and always sets them aside for me. Niche tools are a good reason to have a good relationship with your driver lol. I think snap on know's what they are doing tho, only a small group of hard handle holdouts. Just give a driver your phone number and if he knows he has a buyer he will order a set or two when they release. Individual's will be kind of at the drivers discretion as it requires them to split a set if I understood my driver right. Good luck, and there is always ebay

I ordered a bunch of hard handles from my driver last year. Some of them even had a stamped name on them.

Tried and failed to score a set in November when they were on special but just bought a new SDDX70AO last Friday.
