Old Snap On Ratchet parts

Rebuilding an old 3/8's drive Snap on ratchet with an RKRA380 rebuild kit snap on supplied I managed to mangle the pin for the selector.

It's a simple little rivet sort of item that gets pinned over to hold the pawl and selector switch.

Seems a little excessive to get a whole new rebuild kit just for that tiny 1 cent part.


Any idea where I can just get the pin?

If you have a decent Ace hardware or Do it best, they may have roll pins that size, or spring pins. Worth a shot!

what ratchet model is it. show a pic of the pin. there are diff. ones.

I checked the local Ace, and it didn't have anything that would work. Figured I would post here before I drive all over and spend too much in fuel for a little part.


Its a model F-70-M, see the attached picture for the pin and lever. Some of the ones in your picture look like a match.
