I tracked down some of my mystery sockets to Packer Auto (RAY) Thx to a member on here.
The majority of the remaining sockets appear to possibly be early 1920's - 1930's Snap-on mfg'd but non have the "SW-**" on them or any Snap-On logo, or date code, but all have only the size incremented by 32'nds, "Made in USA", and a sgl vertical knurl.
Here are a couple sample photos.

Thx

I have quite a few of the sgl knurl sockets, some tapered in the smaller sizes up to larger than 1". I got to looking on Comcast.net and found a couple pix of 20's/30's SO stuff and it closely resembles some of the stuff I have. Does anyone know if all the SO stuff back then had the logo or "SW-**" on them.
Do you suppose there were cloners around back then like we have now?

No big deal I'm not looking to sell, most likely go for a penny a lb when my kids and grand kids have the estate sale, hopefully still a few years off :)
The photo is from Comcast

Picked this snap on up today. Covered in surface rust. Cleaned up nice. Here is an example of the stamping that is on early snap one. There is some wear on the s but the o is very clear.
