I am working on cleaning up an old SnapOn toolchest. I got a couple other chests recently and this one I no longer have a need for, but I wanted to at least clean it up before I decide what to do with it, keep it or sell it?. I cleaned up the inside, polised the handles and such but I needed some good clean up tips on the exterior as well as the track. I am currently using some WD-40 and a scrub brush and that is helping, i did the top three rails on the front this way. I just don't know what to do with all the stuff in the track and as you can see the corners are in poor shape. Any cleaning up suggestions to make this as good as possible leaving the original look. I just don't have the time for a resoration. Everything glides and opens well. Thank for all of your help and tips!!
