I came across some old spanner wrenches. One of them has a bit of damage to it. I want to put it on ebay, and need to know how to describe it properly. What are the little nubs called?

Pins.
Tips are on driven things or things that the tip is the definition of the end as opposed to any other section.
Pins are protrusions. Pins do have tips.
People will understand just fine if you use the term tip.

One of those is and adjustable hook spanner, the rest are versions of pin spanners or pin wrenches. At least that is the vernacular we use for them.

The third one with the two sets of pins at 90 degree angles to each other may be for a surface grinder. I know our Harig's use that style for the wheels.
