I have an old "Milwaukee" syphon type spray gun. I don't think it's made by Milwakee tools, it also has a "MP" in a circle on the handle. Milwaukee Pnuematic maybe? It's at least thirty years old. It works crappy now and I would like to fix it. I took it all apart and cleaned it - (it needed it bad), but I would like to replace the plastic seals in there. Does anyone know if these would be available anywhere? I realize the gun isn't worth much - I took it to an auto paint store and they said to throw it away and buy a new one, but it has sentimental value - I painted a lot of cars with it years ago -probably screwed up a lot of paint jobs too.
Any ideas?
Jim S.

Do what I have done with my old Binks No.7 and Sharpe gun......... Hang 'em on the wall (in my case at my paint mixing station) and talk about how great of a gun they were 'back in the day'. I know of plenty of guys that still use them, and I still say they are wasting thier money in material loss. If you can locate parts to rebuild it then give it a freshen up but being that it is such an old gun it is going to be doubtful finding the correct parts, you might be able to make gaskets from another gun work, but it would be more trouble than it is worth to try to revive those old guns imo.

Ditto. Polish it up nice and display it. I don't know about Kentucky, but if you have a non-HVLP gun in your shop in NY it's a big fine. Doesn't even matter if it's stuffed in the back of a cabinet and you haven't touched it in 20 years. Not that anyone ever comes by and checks though.
