Old Style Link Belt?

I dumpster dived what I think to be "Link Belt" but it is a style I've never seen before.
Does anyone have any experience with Fenner Manheim Veelos V-Belt with metal rivets?
Is this something that can be used just like a normal Link Belt, like Accu brand or HFT?

I have 2 sizes in 100' lengths and am not sure if it is useful for drill presses or the like

Fenner was the first to produce one. Like any link belt, they are good in a pinch but wear out sheaves fast if ran for any length of time, especially aluminum sheaves

I think this stuff was built more for industrial applications, like a motor driving a conveyor, rather than a drill press, where its operating at a lower rpm than we expect in a home shop.

No facts to back that up, but vaguely recall seeing it on something back in the 80s.

Very common years ago in industrial applications. I have an economy tractor that uses it to drive the hydraulic pump for the implement lift. Just replaced the original ( vintage 1968) with same style belt from harbor freight. If run at lower speed these belts are very rugged.
