old "tapered" sockets -- no brand name

got this set of old tapered sockets. 1/2" drive. No brand name. Just a big C?? on the back. any idea??

If anything the "c" is an owners mark rather than a company.

Not sure who makes them, sorry.

Those are old sockets made by indestro from around 1933-1941. And I bet the C is from a previous owner. Indestro only marked the sockets chrome vanadium for some reason. Notice the sockets are also tapered.

I have some older Snap-On 3/4" Impact Sockets that have a taper to them.

Similar to these no name whitworth which I think (thanks to advice here) are also Indestro or Duro Chrome.



These Blackhawk have the taper and similar appearance but I still say Indestro or Duro Chrome for yours.
