My Dad Was A Mechanic For Over 70+ Years. But In Cleaning Up His Old Tool Board I Came Across This Tool And I Have Been A Mechanic For Over 50 Years And Have Never Seen A Tool Like This One.Thanks For Any And All Help That You can Give Me. I Did Learn One Thing And That Being Never Never Put Off Tell Tomorrow What You Would Like To Know To Day.

P.S. I Hope I Did Down Load The PIX OK?.

What is the inscription on the tool? The image is there but the inscription is too small to make out.

It Says (no 1 U.S.A. ) There Is NO Brand Name Or Co On It Any Where As To Who Made The Tool .
And I Just Seen That I Have Listed The Tool In The Wrong Place. Sorry About That One. Can You Tell Me How To Delete This Site And Move It Over To The Correct Place.
Thanks For Your Reply. Don

Brake spring tool for drum brakes. The end opposite the "ice pick" is used to remove and reinstall the return springs.

I'm struggling with how someone who's been a mechanic for 50 years has never used one of these to do the drum brakes on a Chrysler...

I Never Worked For Chrysler Just GM And Ford, What Years Did Chrysler Use That Tool???.
I Have Worked On Some Chrysler In The Later Years From Early 60's And Up And They All Took The Brake Tool That Most Cars & Trucks Use To Day.
Thank You For In lighting Me On That One. One Is Never Too Old To Learn Some New Things.
