Finally got around to some deep and long-needed cleaning in the shop/garage. And it appears that I've accumulated more than one old v-belt from years of repairs/maintenance on mowers, tillers, snow blower, and other various types of power equipment.
Though I've typically tried to replace belts before they broke and then toss the old one in a spot in the garage in case the new one broke just in case (and it seemed like for me the always broke on the weekend), I've migrated to just buying a new one for a spare.
So before I toss a grunch of old belts in the landfill, is there some alternative use that folks have devised?
