old van dorn

i have an old van dorn electric drill model 1 with an allen head chuck or maybe the allen set screw is to take the clutch off i am now sure. anyway i plugged it in last fall and it worked and i plugged it in yesterday and it popped the breaker does anyone know where i can get parts or a manual. i also have an old house made in 1904 that i an slowly remodling as money permits what would be the best subfloor for the bathroom. sorry for the rambling i have two high spirited kittens helping me type.
