Old vise dating and info needed!!

I recently purchased this and wonder if I did well. The max opening is 3" I cant make out the maker but hopefully some vise expert can tell me when it was made? value? etc.. is it worth restoration or? Any little thing will help! thanks in advance everyone!!

Ek: it looks like a stanley clamp on vise. Can you clean up the logo and maybe it will show us something? My guess not worth more the $50. Wish i could be more help. Some times best to clean up and post on main vise thread to get responses.

They're not worth much, but if you haven't restored a vise before they can be used to learn on... & provided you don't make a complete *** of it you should be able to triple your money (depending on what you paid for it?)
I have a few of the same basic design & plan on restoring all of them in one go when I get to a number that I like.

I saw that the embellishment said Littco. I believe that it was made by Littlestown. Circa; late 50s? Concerning value, I concur with the other opinions that it is not a high value vise. However, being a clamp on swivel base, and having 2 dynamic jaw guide rods, IMO; it would be more valuable to restore and use it than to flip it. I often find a little clamp on vise very handy.
