old vise parts

i have an simplex #43-s . its a great vise but the nut which is dovetailed in and is replicable (432) number on it---are there any part available or am i scewed? thanks-DON

I once saved a vise by boring out the stripped nut and Relining it with a piece I mad from a stock acme thread nut. I brazed the liner with threads into the shell of the old nut.

thanks-i don't have have room to bore, but is that an acme thread?
