Is there interest in some pretty old wood planes and other assorted pretty old wooden tools?

I didn't get to take pictures but pretty sure we want to sell them epspecially to a collector would lovingly restore and preserve them.

I have no interest in keeping them for sentimental reasons. They are apparently part of my father in law collection whe was NOT a tool guy at all. He may have inherited them and he died 15 years ago. I guess it's possible they could be 100 years old???

Is there a way to find out approximate vintage and value?

I'll try to get some pics real soon to post up.

If you already have the pictures taken for another forum, it's at least worth a post here. If the deal or the item is worth it, someone will buy them. Any way to reach more people is what I'd do.

There are many old tools sites on the internet.
Every plane ever made has is listed somewhere. You can find the year. There are many different styles to every model.
Go to the Woodnet.com or the wooweb.com One is a hobby site and the other is the big boys site. They are easy to reserch. Prices vary on condition. If they have rust there is not much value. Look on E bay and you will see what you have listed. If it has bids follow it for the going price rate.
