I've seen several posts about old woodworking machines so I thought I would post some of mine. I was trying to assemble an "all Delta" shop but deviated with a Parks Planer. Quite a few of mine still need to be restored, but I've finished several...

1945 Delta Unisaw
1952 24" Delta Scroll Saw
1946 6" Delta Jointer

Nice collection. Like the UNI. What color is the paint? Works well with the black trim. Good job.

Jealous on all 3 accounts, but especially so on the unisaw. I've had my eyes peeled for one at a decent price for a while now, just haven't found the right one yet.

Thanks for the comments.

Tarnished: Paint is a top secret, old family tradition...but I'll tell just you...Rustoleum Black Night Metallic # 7250 Rattle can.

Gungatim: It was only thru the great guys at owwm.org that I was able to restore these machines. They provided the knowledge.

95rio: I think I picked this Uni up for about $425 off Craigslist, but I had to drive about two hours to get to the seller. My expense came during the restoration as I replaced almost everything that was likely to wear or break. And paint wasn't right so I sanded down and re-painted. Probably into it for about a grand total.

Don: I love the looks of those old DeWalt RAS. It'll look great restored!

Mine started out as an all Craftsman shop (at least in my head) but a Unisaw and a 12" RAS (turret style) from Rockwell helped to diversify. And the fact that they were $300 combined didn't hurt either (seperate sales, $250 Uni, $50 RAS).
