I'm going thru a bunch of vintage wrenches and came across this oldie. No verbiage on it anywhere except for what looks like an "A" or an arrowhead. It's a 1 1/8 wide wrench. Any ideas of who the maker was?

Hi. Probably a worn Woodings Verona Tool works mark. They made spuds like that.

Check pages 64 & 69. Catalog does not seem to be dated, but may be 1938.

What an incredibly cool catolog! I believe its the no. 511a spud wrench on page 69. I believe I have a couple of their track jacks also.

Thanks for the great info, notlob!

Thanks; any idea of approximatley what year? Should I go over it with a wire wheel or leave it be?

Great wrench & manufacturer, use it! great for aligning bores and some leverage. I use most my oldies, died and long gone forge workers wouldn't want it any other way!
