I had one of those in 1/2" and it was no weakling. I used it for some heavy stuff so I'm sure the 3/8" is up to the task also. Wright is a fantastic company even today.

It's pretty rare for me to run across any Wright-branded ratchets. I don't think I've personally ever seen one like the OP has. If I had, I probably would have bought it.

The most common Wrights I see are Wright-made PowerKraft ratchets that were sold by Montgomery Ward.

^ I am assuming that would be the "Tootsie Roll" black-handled ratchet I have been seeing lately in Ebay listings, correct?
Would it be reasonable to assume that WRIGHT was also making the sockets and other drive accessories in those "Powr-Kraft" sets?

Wright made sockets/ratchets/wrenches will have a part number
consisting of 2 numbers, the letter W, and several numbers after

84W4973 for example from a 1/4 drive flex handle
