Older C-Man cutting torch set questions

There is a cool consignment shop by my place that specializes in "man stuff". Right now they have an older Craftsman torch set with two regulators and the torch itself. No hoses.

Does anyone have experience with this kit? Is there anything I should look for to gauge quality or condition?

I don't have a lot of experience with cutting systems but its the last "big" tool I would like to get in the workshop and the price seems pretty decent.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I am going to say no here. For a couple of reasons but just bought a set from a sale and while I knew what I was doing there was a bad reg, its ok, I was after the bottles and the equipment was a bonus and for lack of better wording have expertise in this field.

If it was all working etc it might be a different matter and while I still have units working after 40 yrs once in a while one up and dumps,,, not often but it can happen. Even new brand sets are competitive even at dealer pricing, every piece in it including hoses is new. Every little gasket and oring etc. It lasts a long time.

Used regs are disposable like that, some main brands are repairable, some sears made by them but they are not worth fixing.
