The plan is to clean it up and polish all the aluminum. Looks like it was well used. Has anyone here rebuilt one of these before?

What would be a good media to blast aluminum with?

A few years ago there were a couple of those old Craftsmans nicely restored on one of the compressor threads. Something like "show us your compressor" or "vintage compressor".
