Older Eagle 2-Post Lift: Seeking Advise

Posting fail. I'm considering purchasing this lift.
My internet searches did not provide much info on this lift, although an installation manual is out there, could be a plus. TP0-9 is the model number.
Does anyone have any experience with a similar unit. 80s/90s? Kinda sorta similar to a Mohawk? I believe its US made and Eagle eventually moved production to china?
Seller states overall height is 12'6 and this may be a dealbreaker, OR I will eventually install a taller one alongside this unit? I'm tall, shop is 13'6" tall. I was going to find the tallest chinese lift i could stuff 10k plus. I need to be able to lift a 1 ton truck periodically...
+++ALSO: Seller states one ram just started puking fluid out of vent. I'm assuming fluid is bypassing internally at this point? Are these lift cylinders "rebuildable" without a headache?

Personally, the leaking Ram would be a deal breaker for me. I'm sure the Cylinder could be rebuildable but is it worth the hassle & cost to you? My concern would be parts availability as well. Most non-floor plate lifts are at least 12 feet in height so if you're ceiling is high enough I would try and stuff the highest lifting unit you can in there. You could get a 10,000lb '210' series from Peak Lift that lifts as high as 83". I'm sure Bendpack and Direct Lift also have similar units.
I only have 11 foot ceilings so I had to 'settle' (lol) for a floor plate model. I'm more than happy with it though.

New cylinders are available (probably old stock) for $600+. They look to be serviceable. However, I couldn't locate any seal kits through an online search. Provided seals can be found or matched up, I guess I wouldn't be super concerned with pulling the cylinder(s) before reinstalling lift and resealing or sending off to local hydraulic shop. Possible bargaining power here.

Lift is well within my budget and possibly of very good initial build quality? Likely will be going with used domestic or new Chinese for personal home shop use. I guess I'm stuck on the height more than anything. Most used domestic lifts (not many around locally) seem to be designed for 12' or 14'+ ceilings. 9k rating is a little lighter than I was looking at but probably sufficient for most of my use..

I had a Chinese built Eagle 9K asymmetric in my old shop. It looked pretty similar to the one in your photo except it was red and maybe a couple other details. Honestly I had no issues with the overall build quality of it. I am just a hobby level user, but it did everything I asked of it. I never attempted picking up my dually with it because I wasn't confident I could get it balanced right, even though the stated weight of the truck is 6500 lbs.
12'-6" sounds about right for the overall height. My old shop was just over 13' ceilings and I had a few inches above the cross beam. That is one difference between the one I had and the one in your photo. The beam across the top on mine was maybe 2" tall in flat orientation, which would buy you a few more inches of lift with an SUV or similar.
