Hello guys,

Anyone know who made the old Kobalt plastic US made socket rails from circa 2009/10? I have a few and they have held up very well, they are a high quality black plastic with a ball retention system.

I want to get more and would like to get the same ones if possible, just have no idea who made them.

They are these:

Any help would be appreciated!

Not sure, But I do know that those were sold under a few different names. I have craftsman ones, which are identical.

It should say on the back who made them, if one could find a picture of the back of the package. I thought they were made by Danaher (Apex Group now) (similar to the older Gearwrench and older Napa rails).

My guess would be VIM. They are also sold under Wright, Armstrong, Matco, Snap On, Goliath, Craftsman and Wiha.

Thanks guys, the rails are not marked on the rear, but I did pick up some from Cripe,

thanks for the help. Good to know that VIM may be an option.

You are correct about VIM being the mfg for the OP's Kobalt socket rails (as well as Armstrong, Matco and Wright). Snap On and Wiha socket rails are actually made by Ernst. I am not sure about Goliath, however.
