Older Mac? Toolbox Please Help

Can anyone help me identify this older box I found. I think it's a Mac made by The Metal Box and Cabinet Co. in Chicago as seen in the first picture.

Looking to find the date of manufacturing and the brand as I need a couple handles and the missing badge.

Those are MBC made, and likely MBC branded boxes. I'm not sure they ever made boxes for MAC, but they made tons for Snap-On.

Thinking your right. It has the holes were the MBC Century emblem should sit on the top left corner of the bottom box. I think the 70 on the stamping means it was made in 1970 from what I've seen.

Let me know if anyone has handles or old MBC Century emblems. Thanks!

Well, I that looks very similar to the Mac boxes that I have. The same company that made them during that era also made them for Matco. I believe that company was Waterloo, but twertsy may be right. I have seen the drawer pulls and the emblems come up on eBay fairly often, and the only reason I'm looking on eBay for parts is because my tool chest is missing the top drawer, while yours seems to be missing the bottom. I've been trying to find a replacement with no luck for a lonnnng time. If, by chance, you decide to not go forth with a restoration on that thing and decide to scrap it (and I'm not suggesting that you *should*) before you do, think you'd be willing to let me get my hands on the top drawer?

Looks very much like Waterloo IMO.
