I bought this sk 1/2 ratchet off of ebay, I am trying to get a view on how old it is, this is the picture off of ebay I will post better ones later after it is done soaking, but can anyone tell from the picture how old it is, the switch to change it from clockwise to counterclockwise is a push button right under the head it goes from one side to the other. It does not have a part number on it. Does anyone have an idea?

I don't know the age, but there was a recent thread (maybe 2 months ago?) regarding that model... A fellow had sent his in for warranty work & SK sent him a new ratchet rather than fixing the old one. The problem was it was his father's or grandfather's or something & it had sentimental value. I think he got the original back eventually, but...

I can't find the thread either since "SK" is too short to be a valid search term!

That's the one with the pass-thru selector switch. I don't think that the ratchet is very well regarded as a quality tool though...
