I have an older snap on 40 inch classic roller cabinet. It has friction slides and I would like to convert it to ball bearing slides however it appears that part of the slide is made as part of the drawer. Anybody have any suggestions for what I could use to upgrade? The box is immaculate and I got it for a song.

I have several KRA boxes from the 90s and newer. The bigger drawers and corresponding cabinet sides have cutouts for the snappy slides. I was able to convert all of those by adding the ball bearing slide and leaving out the center section ofthe friction slide.

I have an old Snap-On box from the early 80's. If you clean and lubricate the slides with Fluid Film or something of the like, they work pretty well. Unless you have very heavy drawers, I find it to be much more satisfying than the ball bearing slides. I'm also a sucker for drop front boxes.

Hi! I Have a KRA 3800A that I'd really like to update to ball bearing slides. It looks to me like the drawers and the cabinet have the right cutouts for them. Would you be able to share what part numbers you used to update yours?
